Summary

Tang Ru Ji and An Yuan Dao escape a burning city, lamenting their lost wealth and the absence of Tang Shen, who was supposed to protect their grain. They decide to blame him for their predicament and seek to buy grain, though An Yuan Dao has no money left. Meanwhile, Japanese pirates attack a grain transport ship. Chen Si Pan leads a counterattack, using hidden explosives to decimate the pirates. Despite initial chaos, the Ming army regroups and prepares for battle against the approaching pirates, who employ their notorious Butterfly Formation.
