Summary

In a dark, ominous night, a short barbarian Commander, adorned in a black beast robe and wielding a bone staff, leads a group of tall barbarians towards the Mouse Nest stronghold, planning an attack to eradicate the human sorcerers inside. As they prepare, Shi Mu, a sorcerer within the stronghold, senses danger and gathers talismans before heading outside. He encounters fellow talisman masters and realizes they are under attack. In a sudden ambush, several of his companions are killed by dark arrows and bone spears from the barbarians.
