Summary

Xu Le finds himself in a nightmarish battle, surrounded by enemies and the lifeless bodies of his comrades. Overwhelmed by despair, he longs for his grandfather, only to realize he is gone. Awakening to the concern of villagers, Xu Le learns of his grandfather's death and decides on cremation instead of burial. He vows to avenge his grandfather, rallying the villagers to follow him. Meanwhile, Chen Feng Po and his companions, fleeing from the defeated Ma Yi cavalry, seek refuge in a nearby village. As Xu Le prepares for the next phase of his journey, he reflects on his grandfather's legacy, determined to fulfill his mission and honor his memory.
