Summary

Zhang Xuan and A Yuan enter a tavern called Sheng Tuan Er, where Zhang Xuan insists A Yuan sit with him, contrary to her expectations as a maid. A Yuan excitedly orders food, showcasing her knowledge of the tavern's famous snacks. As they enjoy their meal, a middle-aged man approaches Zhang Xuan, requesting he meet his master, a woman named Gao Hui from the Bohai Society. Intrigued, Zhang Xuan follows the man upstairs, where he meets Gao Hui, who praises him and reveals her intentions to help him eliminate his rivals in exchange for joining the Bohai Society. Zhang Xuan, however, questions his worthiness of such offers.
