Summary

Le Chen woke up sore and took a rejuvenating pill, avoiding breakfast at home. At school, he struggled to focus, with low scores in subjects he found uninteresting. His friend Da Zhi, who admired him, took notes for him. After class, Le Chen asked Da Zhi to help him request leave due to feeling unwell. He encountered Shen Li Dan, who expressed concern for his health and handed him a pager before revealing her decision to leave Fan Cheng. Le Chen felt frustrated by her departure despite his efforts to help her. Later, in a hotel, Shen Li Dan prepared to confront Liu Zhi Sheng, feeling uneasy about their dinner. She expressed her disdain for him to Xu Xing Han, who began to respect her resolve.
