Summary

Lin Fan speeds north to a granary filled with 200 tons of rice, enough to last him 800 years. He encounters Lin Wan'er, a 24-year-old PhD student in agriculture, who is initially wary but intrigued by his offer to help her survive the apocalypse. Lin Fan uses his mysterious powers to absorb food from the granary and pharmacy, leaving Lin Wan'er bewildered. They escape on a motorcycle, pursued by zombies, and Lin Fan uses his speed to carry her to safety. They reach Mount Buzhou, where Lin Fan sets up a ladder to help them escape the encroaching zombie horde.
