Summary

Ding Yi finds Qian asleep in a car, discovers she has a fever, and realizes she was bitten by a boy during an accident. He tries to help her with medicine but soon sees her condition deteriorate as dark veins spread from the bite. Despite her attempts to stay cheerful, Qian succumbs to the infection and transforms into a zombie. Ding Yi, heartbroken, shoots her to end her suffering, then mourns her loss. He seeks solace in cigarettes and destroys a car as a final farewell to his fallen companion, reflecting on the harsh reality of the apocalypse and his own survival.
