Summary

Zhang Bai Ren, after a drunken feast at Mount Hua, encounters Gongsun Xiao Niang and Gongsun Da Niang, who express their longing for him and question his commitment to marrying them. Despite his cultivation goals, he reassures them of his intentions. Returning to his village, he finds it quieter without Ding Dang. As he meditates on the mountain, he is confronted by Cao Chong and Cao Zhi, demanding a jade hairpin linked to their sister-in-law. Zhang Bai Ren reveals the hairpin's significance and threatens to burn it, leading to a fierce confrontation. The tension escalates as Cao Zhi pleads for his sister-in-law's safety.
