Summary

Shen Jiao returns home feeling cold and brews ginger and brown sugar water for relief. She worries about Zhu Si Ya, who is being sold to another family, and reflects on her own past as a concubine. Concerned for Zhu Si Ya's future, she seeks help from Han Qi Xiu, who suggests buying her back with grain. Shen Jiao is hesitant, knowing it’s against the law.
