Chapter 129: "Iron Head Returns to the Court: Old Dreams of the Martial Arts World and New Graces from the Court". [131]

Summary

A master from the Huai Shan clan, disguised as a swordsmith, visits Tie Tou's camp bearing a token from Madam Tie Bi. Tie Tou, engaged in strategy discussions, is eager to meet his elder brother, who reveals that their mother is in the Zhao Ting camp and urges Tie Tou to abandon his current path and help quell the San Miao rebellion. The Huai Shan master explains the dangers of remaining loyal to the Jiuli tribe, which has betrayed Zhao Ting, and emphasizes the importance of family honor. Tie Tou struggles with his loyalty to his tribe versus his duty to his parents. After deliberation, he decides he wishes to return to Zhao Ting but is concerned about his troops' reaction. The Huai Shan master advises him to lead the troops away under a false pretense, allowing Tie Tou to return to Zhao Ting and assist in the conflict against the Jiuli tribe.
