Summary

In a perilous encounter, the protagonist witnesses Diao Yuan Long and Guang Ren urging him to escape as a horde of Ghost-Faced Monkeys approaches. While Diao Yuan Long manages to fend off some monkeys, Guang Ren is overwhelmed. The protagonist navigates a treacherous Ghost Pool, warning others of its deadly waters. As chaos ensues, he fights off the relentless monkeys but realizes their numbers are overwhelming. After a desperate struggle, he blocks the passage with monkey corpses and escapes to the upper area, where Diao Yuan Long attempts to blow open a sealed door. Despite their efforts, the explosives fail to breach the door, leaving them in a dire situation.
