Summary

You Lin, grieving over his mother's death, is comforted by an elder who hints at her survival, igniting hope in You Lin. The elder explains that while her physical form is gone, her essence remains. He assures You Lin that his mother left something for him and signals silence as they approach the High Priest. Upon reaching a mysterious house resembling an upside-down mountain, they enter through a magical watery mirror. Inside, they are shocked to find the High Priest kneeling before Xiao Yan, calling him benefactor, which confuses both You Lin and the elder, as he expected You Lin, the queen's offspring, to be honored instead.
