Summary

In the moonlight, Liu Jin Mo and Han Sheng uncover a disturbing excavation linked to the Abbess and Mingyue's disappearance. They deduce that an old woman, who buried an earthen vessel ten years prior, may have kidnapped Mingyue after the Abbess was attacked. They discover the corpse of a eunuch, murdered and buried, linked to a sinister cycle of death. Qian, an old master, reveals that this corpse is the first of a twelve-year cycle, predicting more deaths to come.
