Summary

Du Shaofu confronts a muscular man at the Lanling Mansion, questioning his competence and suggesting that he might be in trouble if he doesn't report Du Shaofu's presence to the Mansion Lord. Du Shaofu presents a sword as a token, convincing the man to notify the Lord. Inside, the Mansion Lord, upon receiving the sword, realizes it belongs to an old acquaintance and suspects that the visitor is the son of his long-lost friend. The Lord and a woman named Shan Mei express concern for the boy's safety, recognizing the gravity of the situation. Meanwhile, Du Shaofu waits anxiously, hoping to uncover more about his mysterious father.
