Summary

Ye Qing Yu and a sentinel confront a black-robed figure, who demands treasures in exchange for the sentinel's life. Despite Ye Qing Yu's attempts to negotiate, the sentinel refuses to abandon his duty, resulting in a fierce struggle. The sentinel sacrifices himself, upholding the sentinel's dignity, while Ye Qing Yu is left powerless and enraged. After a devastating encounter with the black-robed figure, Ye Qing Yu loses consciousness. Upon awakening, he finds himself in a dark, liquid-filled environment, restrained and confronted by the black-robed figure, who taunts him about his refusal to surrender his treasures.
