Summary

In a misty mountain forest, Chu Jie hums contentedly while Chu Tie Tu and other Chu family generals move stealthily, their forms flickering like illusions. Suddenly, rustling sounds disrupt the tranquility, prompting Chu Tie Tu to gather his men, who transform into semi-transparent beings surrounded by ghostly flames. As a cold mist spreads, trees freeze and shatter, creating chaos. A pack of giant wolves emerges, radiating demonic energy, leading to a confrontation with Chu Tie Tu. The largest wolf transforms into a towering man, demanding the whereabouts of two missing siblings, Shui Bing Yu and Shui Bing Ye. The wolf demons bring the siblings, seemingly lifeless, and Chu Jie, oblivious to their condition, attempts to take care of Shui Bing Yu. The old yellow wolf reveals she has been poisoned by mushrooms, and despite their efforts to save her, they cannot fully cure her. The old yellow wolf declares the Chu family captives, leading to a fierce confrontation where Chu Tie Tu is severely injured. The chapter ends with Chu Jie trying to maintain peace while holding Shui Bing Yu.
