Chapter 121: Third Kind Contact (Part 4). [741]
Summary
Yue Chen strolls through the desolate square of Paros Long, where the Paro Parliament building stands. The area is largely deserted, contrasting with its former bustling tourist scene. President Old Bo Sa, who has ruled Paro for over thirty years, is now a dictator facing criticism and a civil war. His control has dwindled to a narrow strip of land, while the rest of the country is divided among various factions, including South Paro and the Northern Federation, both supported by military powers. Yue Chen, initially indifferent to the conflict, discovers the planet's valuable resources and contemplates a ruthless plan to consolidate power and gather raw liquid. However, he faces challenges in controlling the fleet without detection, fearing exposure could jeopardize his return to the Parinard World. As he strategizes, riot police surround him, leading to his capture. In an interrogation room, he insists on meeting Old Bo Sa to discuss a cooperation plan, despite the secret police's frustration and attempts to break his resolve.Full content
