Summary

In a snowy setting, Ji Cheng Xue approaches the Great Emperor Hall, feeling the weight of loss after her father's death. Inside, she encounters Lian Fu, the head eunuch, who informs her that she cannot see her father until after the funeral, despite her pleas. Meanwhile, Bu Fang is interrupted by Ni Yan, who eagerly wants to cook for him. Despite her enthusiasm, Bu Fang refuses her request to use his kitchen. Ni Yan insists on learning his cooking technique, leading to a standoff. Eventually, Bu Fang agrees to teach her if she can impress him with her cooking, setting the stage for a culinary challenge.
