Summary

A middle-aged man, Bai Cong, in a hemp robe, was in a dim corner of Star Light City. He met with a bearded man, who claimed to have contacted Hu Lao San to arrange for Bai Cong's escape through a secret passage. However, Bai Cong discovered the bearded man's lie and realized he was betrayed. Seven or eight black-clad figures appeared, and their leader, A San, revealed that they had been searching for Bai Cong. Bai Cong tried to escape but was cornered and injured. Just as A San was about to deliver the final blow, a figure in a black robe, Ouyang Ming, appeared and defeated the black-clad figures. Ouyang Ming revealed that he knew Bai Cong's name from the Netherworld Pavilion and offered him a position as his butler. Bai Cong was hesitant due to his past conflicts with the second young master of the Starry Light City Lord, but Ouyang Ming showed interest in learning more about the situation.
