Summary

After defeating the Japanese stronghold, the united anti-Japanese forces faced new threats as Japan sent reinforcements for retaliation. Ye Cheng, Lin Yu, and Tang Qiu Yan led their troops to a hidden mountainous area, struggling with harsh conditions and dwindling supplies. They sought shelter in a cave, encountering wild wolves but managing to scare them off. The next day, they found water and food, but the wounded needed urgent care. Ye Cheng ventured to a nearby village for help and brought back a healer. They ambushed a Japanese patrol, achieving a temporary victory but revealing their position. Despite losses, they remained determined to fight back.
