Summary

A woman, saved by Mo Wuji, awakens outside the Dark Source Palace, astonished by the high-grade life elixirs and primordial life essence he provided. She absorbs divine energy to recover her strength, unaware of Mo Wuji's breakthrough to the ninth level of quasi-saint. Mo Wuji discovers that a dark wood fragment he possesses has transformed into a sapling, absorbing various source pearls he provides. He decides to cultivate the sapling in his realm of mortals, where Han Qing Ru has advanced to the early stage of the Immortal Emperor realm. The woman, Dai Nan Jian, thanks Mo Wuji for saving her and reveals her brother, Dai Fang, established the Dark Source Palace to restore dark attribute rules. She recounts how her brother gained recognition and became the first Temple Master of the Dark Source Temple, which was later surrounded by prohibitions.
