Summary

Mo Wuji decides to save a woman being burned at the soul, feeling uncomfortable with her suffering outside his training hall. He removes the soul fire and restrains her, but to his surprise, she survives, displaying a strong will to live. Impressed, he gives her Life Elixirs and infuses her with precious Hongmeng Vitality, then sets up protective arrays around the Dark Source Hall before beginning his closed-door training. Over the course of thousands of years, he progresses through the quasi-saint levels. Meanwhile, in the cosmic void, a frustrated saint named Tian Hen, lost and angry, encounters a young female cultivator who is also lost.
