Summary

The chapter begins with Kitahara Nagi and Xiang Cai, two elementary school students, sharing a bus ride. They encounter a strange man, Nagayama Yuuzuru, who makes the kids uneasy. After getting off the bus, Nagi walks Xiang Cai home, where they discuss a jade pendant necklace that Xiang Cai's sister, Bei Yuan Yang Cai, received as a gift. They discover its high value online, leading to concerns about its safety. Meanwhile, Nagayama Yuuzuru returns to Long Mountain, where he is warmly welcomed by his shikigami and other women. He recounts his recent experiences, including a visit to Inari City, and discusses the implications of their divine roles. Later, he confronts two captured women, Long Ze Hua Nai and Bu Zhi Huo Wu, in the Demon Suppression Tower. After a series of events, he manages to heal Bu Zhi Huo Wu, who then feels conflicted about a contract she unwittingly signed with him.
