Summary

Zhang Hai Shan, unable to sleep, wakes early and checks on his daughter, Zhang Xiao Ling, and her friend, Jing Yu. He feels conflicted about his relationship with Jing Yu, fearing her reaction to the truth. After leaving, Zhang Xiao Ling and Jing Yu suspect he is hiding something and decide to follow him. They discover he is heading to a mental hospital, raising questions about mental illness. Upon arrival, they encounter a taxi driver dispute, which is resolved by an attending doctor who recognizes Zhang Xiao Ling as the director's daughter. The doctor offers to guide them through the hospital while they search for Zhang Hai Shan.
