Summary

Zhou Zhen and Tao Nan Ge are on a journey in an off-road vehicle. Zhou Zhen notices Tao Nan Ge's rapid breathing but allows her to sleep, fearing waking her might cause nightmares. As they drive through desolate landscapes, Tao Nan Ge wakes up and starts browsing Zhou Zhen's phone, finding videos of girls, including one secretly filmed by Chu Jing Yan. Zhou Zhen feels uneasy but struggles to understand why. Suddenly, an infected creature appears in the sky, causing Zhou Zhen to feel dizzy. Tao Nan Ge attempts to capture it with her phone but misses, then retrieves a telescope to try again. Zhou Zhen's mental state worsens, and he recalls a wanderer named Nie Lang who has information about "Digital Rain." Meanwhile, in a desolate town, a man named Nie Lang oversees a group preparing to hunt infected creatures. After a successful hunt, the group questions Nie Lang about the "Digital Rain," but he remains tight-lipped, promising they'll find out soon. Back in the off-road vehicle, Zhou Zhen's memories flood back, leading him to suspect that Tao Nan Ge has been infected by Chu Jing Yan. He contemplates the dangers of waking her up but is interrupted when Tao Nan Ge suddenly kicks the windshield, waking up and claiming she had a nightmare. Zhou Zhen realizes that the real Tao Nan Ge has returned.
