Summary

Bai Xiao Chun encounters the desolate figure of Kui Huang, once a mighty emperor, now a tortured prisoner. The Da Huang Zi, who desires Bai Xiao Chun's body to unlock the secrets of the Kui Zai bloodline, reveals his madness by severing his own hand to merge with Kui Huang's flesh. Kui Huang, despite his suffering, asserts that his left eye holds the secret of the Kui Zai bloodline and acknowledges Bai Xiao Chun as the new ruler. As Kui Huang's body dissolves, Bai Xiao Chun honors him with a bow, recognizing his heroism. In a fit of rage, the Da Huang Zi absorbs Kui Huang's essence, gaining power but provoking Bai Xiao Chun's wrath.
