Summary

Yuan Gang, after a brief encounter with a couple at a stall, learns about the Thorn Shi Mansion and seeks out Niu You Dao. Upon arrival, he meets Hai Ru Yue, who informs him that Niu You Dao has left for the Ice and Snow Pavilion. Despite their differing social standings, Yuan Gang's disregard for hierarchy intrigues Hai Ru Yue. Niu You Dao's letter instructs Yuan Gang to stay in Jinzhou for safety, anticipating a dangerous situation in Qing Shan County. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Jinzhou and the Yan Kingdom after an envoy's assassination, leading to military threats. In the desert, Niu You Dao and Yuan Fang approach Zhaixing City, a hub for cultivators, where they plan to retrieve the Red Sun Vermilion Fruit.
