The Grand Wei Court.

Chapter 116: The Furious Bear Tuo. [115]

Summary

As the Chu army camped near a desolate village, Lord Xiong Tuo strategized with his generals on how to conquer the fortified Wei army at Yan Shui camp. Facing winter's challenges, they debated various tactics, including building siege engines and attacking An Ling, but realized the futility of winter warfare. Unexpectedly, they learned that the Wei had released thirty thousand Chu captives, now weak and unarmed, back to their camp. Xiong Tuo faced a dilemma: he couldn't turn them away or execute them without risking morale among his own troops. This situation left him frustrated, as these men were of little use in their current state, complicating his plans further.
