Summary

Miao Yi struggles against an invading consciousness attempting to possess him, ultimately managing to eradicate it. As he does so, the sky transforms from a dreamy white to a clear blue. He discovers a foreign object in his brow, resembling a third eye, which drains his mana. Despite the pain, he realizes removing it could damage his other eyes. Miao Yi casts spells to clear smoke and extinguish flames, confirming the death of a giant clam monster. He retrieves a dirty box containing a black metal sphere and a jade disc inscribed with cultivation words. The discovery leads him to ponder the intentions of Bai Zhu, the mastermind behind the treasure hunts, and the connection to his own cultivation technique.
