Summary

Shi Mu is fleeing towards the valley entrance, pursued by a man in a black cloak and a powerful black serpent. Despite his speed, he feels the imminent threat of the cloaked man and regrets not having prepared enough talismans. As Shi Mu reaches the valley entrance, his companions Bai Yu Xiu and others choose to head towards a cliff instead. The man in the black cloak sends his serpent after Shi Mu while he pursues Bai Yu Xiu's group. Meanwhile, a battle ensues at the valley entrance, where tribal warriors gain the upper hand against human disciples. Ke Er, using her magic, prepares to retreat with a cold woman from the Tian Yin Sect as the situation worsens. Shi Mu, disguised as a barbarian, escapes into the forest but is soon attacked by the black serpent. He manages to evade and counterattack, realizing the serpent's formidable toughness. After a fierce exchange, Shi Mu uses his meteorite black knife against the serpent, causing some damage but realizing the snake is still a significant threat.
