Summary

Zhen Shao Ke invites Mo Wu Ji to represent Jiu Yue Dan Ge in the Dan Dou competition in the Five Elements Wasteland. Mo Wu Ji expresses his desire to participate but reveals he is being hunted by the Second Elder of the Wuhen Sword Sect. Zhen Shao Ke assures him that they can handle the situation. Mo Wu Ji agrees to join Jiu Yue Dan Ge as a guest alchemist. The Second Elder, Xu Fei Bo, confronts Mo Wu Ji, demanding he return to the sect, but Zhen Shao Ke defends Mo Wu Ji's status as a guest alchemist. After Xu Fei Bo leaves, Zhen Shao Ke warns Mo Wu Ji about the Second Elder's power. Mo Wu Ji expresses gratitude and learns they will reach the Five Elements Wasteland in about half a month, with a pill furnace available for his use.
