Summary

Bai Xiao Chun and Gong Sun Wan Er enter Xuan Jiu Jun, which has transformed into a desolate landscape devoid of life. They sense something amiss, as Gong Sun Wan Er's attempts to probe the area are met with limitations. She detects a village nearby, prompting them to investigate. Upon arrival, they find the village eerily empty despite lights and cooking fires, and the cheerful laughter of a little girl echoes throughout. As they search the houses, they find remnants of meals but no people. The laughter turns to crying, filling the atmosphere with despair, and Bai Xiao Chun realizes Gong Sun Wan Er has vanished. He suspects a secret formation is at play and uses fifteen-colored flames to uncover the hidden space, revealing Gong Sun Wan Er and a puppet emitting the same anguished cries.
