Summary

After the disappearance of the "Return Or Not To Return" impersonator, the fog lifted, and guards began to regain their senses. The emperor, Liu Xiu, was found safe with the East Sea princess. Meanwhile, officials discussed the presence of cultivators protecting the emperor. As chaos subsided, Liu Xiu ordered a nighttime journey to a nearby county, where preparations for his stay were inadequate. Officials struggled with limited supplies, and tensions rose when a minor official brazenly took food from them. Despite their outrage, the officials were persuaded to remain civil until they reached their destination, where they planned to report the misconduct.
