Summary

Zhang Bai Yi, the younger brother of the notorious Zhang Bai Ren, arrives at Shaolin Temple seeking an audience with Master Dharma. Despite his earnest pleas, the monks, wary of his brother's fearsome reputation, refuse him entry. Eventually, Master Dharma recognizes Zhang Bai Yi and agrees to accept him into the Buddhist order, but only after a rigorous ritual that involves shaving his head and renouncing worldly ties. As he prepares to enter the monastic life, his father, Zhang Fei, violently opposes the decision, fearing disgrace for their family lineage. Despite the turmoil, Zhang Bai Yi remains resolute, determined to sever his past and embrace the Buddhist path, even as blood is shed in the conflict.
