Summary

Mi Xiao Jing, a Golden Immortal, observes a supernatural earthen city and its inhabitants, puzzled by the illusionary nature of his surroundings. Despite the locals' chatter, he remains focused, suspecting a transformation between reality and illusion. A mysterious, short man approaches, emanating a strong, hostile aura, and Mi Xiao Jing realizes he may be imprisoned underground. The man wields an illusionary purple-gold sword, which resonates with Mi Xiao Jing's own sword. As the man attacks, Mi Xiao Jing dodges and identifies weaknesses, opting to use celestial sword chains instead of his own sword. However, the chains pass through the opponent's sword without effect, leaving Mi Xiao Jing in a precarious situation.
