Summary

Xie Shiyuan and Qin Shu navigate a complex cave, once the lair of a sea god, while evading sea monsters. They overhear discussions about hidden treasures and the sea god's formidable power. As they explore, they discover fish bones and turtle shells, remnants of sacrifices made by sea monsters to gain favor with the sea god. Qin Shu realizes the sea god's promises resemble cult-like manipulation. Just as they prepare to investigate a sculpture, an emotional wave overwhelms Qin Shu, causing her to embrace Xie Shiyuan, declaring her power belongs to him. Xie Shiyuan, surprised, quickly moves her away from danger as her energy surges.
