Summary

In the dark of night, amidst howling wind and rain, Lu Xian and his group prepared to leave Jiangning City, urged by the urgency of the situation. Following a split in the Fairness Party after He Wen's announcement, chaos erupted as assassination attempts and conflicts arose among the factions. Lu Xian, a mid-level enforcer, sensed danger and quickly organized an escape for his group. As they approached the southern Bo Xin Gate, they encountered obstacles from rival factions, particularly Yao Bing Zhi, who demanded a hefty fee for passage. After tense negotiations, Lu Xian secured passage for his group but faced further complications when He Fu's deputy blocked their exit, insisting they stay. Despite the turmoil, Lu Xian remained determined to protect his people as unrest grew in the city.
