Summary

Thirteen years later, Yue Chen, now an ordinary clone named Chen Feng, feels time differently in a world governed by unique rules. Contemplating suicide, he fears death may lead to eternal darkness. He receives a gift from his adoptive mother, Yun Jing, an ancient copper coin, which rekindles his hope for escape. However, tragedy strikes when an assassin kills Yun Jing, and Yue Chen is mortally wounded. As he loses consciousness, he clings to her hand, feeling her presence fade away.
