Summary

The passage narrates a protagonist's suicide attempt at a bridge, haunted by guilt over causing seven deaths fifteen years ago. As he prepares to jump, he encounters hallucinations of those he harmed, including his mother who rejects him. Just as he is about to fall, a woman resembling Du Yu Wei saves him, mysteriously pulling him back despite being his apparent enemy.
