Chapter 110: I Took Him Away. [111]

Summary

An Zheng's remarkable archery skills at the Yan Guo Martial Arts Academy overshadowed all, hitting the target's center with five arrows. Following the death of Sang Hai Jing, Yan Xu was hastily appointed as the new dean, leading to rumors of foul play. An Zheng, however, shocked everyone by admitting he could not ride a horse, which he viewed as a symbol of freedom. Despite ridicule, he argued that his speed rendered a horse unnecessary. Meanwhile, he supported Sang Rou, who was grieving the loss of her grandfather's belongings, which were being discarded by the new dean's attendants. An Zheng confronted them, asserting the importance of respecting the deceased's possessions, and took decisive action against their disrespect.
