Summary

In Peach Village, a 70-year-old man named Wang Yong Quan died alone, abandoned by his children. Brother Xiang, Han Si Fan, and the narrator investigate his mysterious death. The corpse appears pitch-black and swollen, indicating supernatural involvement. An old superstitious master believes a jumping corpse killed Wang, likely awakened by a water monster. The narrator finds himself trapped in the house with the corpse, while his companions abandon him. As he attempts to escape upstairs, the corpse begins to move, transforming into a zombie-like creature searching for him.
