Summary

The protagonist spends a sleepless night contemplating a mysterious threat from a black-robed man who has put their family in danger. After fabricating excuses to hide their distress, they decide to contact Officer Yang for help. Using a borrowed phone, they report their urgent situation to the police, adopting the alias "Kai Zi." Officer Yang reassures them, promising protection for their family. Despite the promise of safety, the protagonist feels uneasy as they share the details of the attack with their parents. Their father, intrigued by the assailant's characteristics, begins to investigate further, examining the protagonist's hand, hinting at deeper knowledge and possible clues to the threat they face.
