Chapter 11: May's Cicadas Hear the Qiang Melody (1). [180]
Summary
The battlefield, now silent after fierce fighting, is littered with corpses as soldiers of the Aoi tribe scavenge for spoils. Dong Yu's forces, having suffered heavy losses, are abandoned by their front and rear troops. Amidst the chaos, the blind medicine issues orders to strip the dead, while Yu Long Ke and Xia Yao remain vigilant against potential enemy returns. The arrival of the notorious monk Wu Chi La complicates matters, prompting Han Gang to confront him. After a tense exchange, Han Gang orders Wu Chi La's execution, viewing him as a threat to their plans. The swift killing sparks concern among the soldiers, but Han Gang justifies it as a necessary measure to eliminate competition for influence among the Tibetans.Full content
