Summary

In a dream, Chen Shi Shi sees her father at her mother's grave, where he mourns and prays for her well-being. A mysterious man, Gui Dou, appears, revealing that he has provided pills for Chen Shi Shi to break free from a hereditary bloodline. Chen Feng promises to fulfill a promise to Gui Dou, leaving Chen Shi Shi confused and scared. After waking, she senses something is wrong and decides to investigate the clock tower, recalling her father's battles with supernatural beings.
