Summary

Li Ao realizes he must be polite to a senior named Ao Shan Tang Ben, but chooses to ignore him and instead contacts Grand Soul Master Mo Fei about a troubling situation. During an alchemy assessment, Li Ao defends Wang Chong, an apprentice from the Tyrant Clan, against Ao Shan Tang Ben's attempt to expel him due to a past experimental accident. Tensions rise as Ao Ni Ke, a ten-star alchemist and Ao Shan Tang Ben's mentor, arrives and dismisses Li Ao's authority, asserting that Wang Chong deserves expulsion. Just as the situation escalates with guards being summoned to remove Wang Chong, Grand Soul Master Mo Fei unexpectedly enters, causing shock among the candidates and shifting the dynamics of the confrontation.
