Summary
The protagonist successfully hunts a deer and encounters a large blue-patterned python while gathering water. After a fierce struggle, he manages to paralyze the python using an electric baton and kills it. He returns to camp with the deer leg and python, but the women are reluctant to drink the nourishing deer blood he offers. Despite their disdain, he drinks it himself, feeling revitalized. He prepares the meat for cooking and plans to make snake soup, while also gathering coconuts for oil.
