Summary

Later, Jia Huan faces cold treatment from Jia Mu after a jade incident, realizing he is marginalized within the family. Yuan Yang warns him about his inappropriate thoughts regarding Jia Baoyu, highlighting the conflicts of interest in the household. As Jia Huan's status declines, he endures neglect and poor meals, yet remains resilient. He plans to visit the market to cheer up Aunt Zhao, who expresses frustration over Jia Baoyu's carefree life. Meanwhile, he is summoned by Madam Wang to copy the Diamond Sutra, sensing it as a test of loyalty amidst family politics.
