Summary

Nie Li previously entered the Heavenly Illusion Sacred Realm and sealed Ye Yan Shi Zu's soul in a spirit puppet, which raised questions of betrayal. Ye Yan Shi Zu, however, claimed he willingly accepted this fate. Ye Zong and Ye Xiu showed respect to Ye Yan Shi Zu, but Ye Zong was furious at Nie Li for his actions, especially regarding his daughter. Despite Ye Zong's anger, he could not confront Nie Li due to Ye Yan Shi Zu's presence. Ye Zong left in a huff after being teased by Nie Li. Ye Xiu hoped for a resolution regarding the Ten Thousand Demon Spirit Formation, but Ye Yan Shi Zu refused to help. Ye Zong's anger grew, but Ye Xiu suggested a compromise to save Radiant City. Eventually, Ye Zong agreed to Ye Xiu's plan, and Nie Li prepared to visit Ye Zi Yun, who was lost in thought by the lake, reflecting on her feelings for him.
