Summary

In a dramatic scene at Lei Lake, Lei Gang and his guards witness an unprecedented storm of lightning, with water swirling into the air like flood dragons. Amidst the chaos, Nie Feng and Huo Ling spot a shadow moving in the lake, which turns out to be Ang Mao, a legendary spirit beast of thunder. Ang Mao, resembling a giant rooster with vibrant feathers, reveals its purpose of hunting a dangerous demon beast, the Nine-Loop Crimson Belly. Despite the awe surrounding Ang Mao, the group realizes their plan to collect the Lei Water Crystal is thwarted.
