Chapter 109: Absurd! She’s Slandering Me! [108]

Summary

Tang Ping Er, a disciple of the He Huan Sect, attempts to escape after stealing a Storage Ring from San Quan Dao Ren but is confronted by Qin Mo Ran, who demands she return it. Despite her protests and attempts to feign innocence, Qin Mo Ran sees through her disguise and insists she hand over the ring. Upon inspection, he finds it contains only minor resources, leading him to criticize the demonic sect's greed. Cao Tie Niu from the Four Seas Gang arrives, accusing Qin Mo Ran of scheming against him, and suggests that the ring may contain a fragment of a celestial herb they have been hiding. After a soul search reveals Tang Ping Er's involvement in the plot, Cao Tie Niu confronts Qin Mo Ran about the missing treasures, but Qin Mo Ran vehemently denies taking anything. The confrontation escalates, but ultimately, Cao Tie Niu decides to retreat, vowing to remember the grudge. Meanwhile, Gu Xiu prepares to use the celestial herb to heal his Divine Soul, while Sang Shou Dao reflects on his past and contemplates taking action after years of silence.
